WHAT SIZE SHOULD I BUY?
We primarily recommend using the individual size guides available on each product page of your desired bikini. There, you’ll find exact product measurements that you can easily compare with bikinis you already own.
Alternatively, or in addition, you can use our general size guide to take your body measurements and find your perfect fit.
Our bikinis are true to size and fit as shown on the models. They are intentionally designed with cheeky coverage to create our signature CALUA fit. Most styles are adjustable, allowing you to customize the fit to your body.
I am between two sizes, should I choose the smaller or the larger size?
If you find yourself between two sizes, the choice between the smaller or larger size depends on your preferred fit. Most of our bikinis are adjustable, offering the flexibility to wear both sizes comfortably. Consider whether you prefer a little more fabric or a cheekier fit to make your decision.
Ultimately, it's more about the fit than worrying whether the pieces won't suit you. If you're still unsure, feel free to send us a message anytime, and our team will provide personalized advice.
DO THE BIKINI TOPS COME WITH INCLUDED PADS?
Most of our bikini tops come with removable pads, giving you the flexibility to wear them with or without padding, or even replace them with your own based on your preferences. You can check whether the top you're interested in includes pads by referring to the individual product description and details on the product page.
Please note that the following tops do NOT include pads: BAE TOP, RAYE TOP. However, for the BAE TOP, we've designed it with openings so that you can insert pads later if you choose to.
HOW DO I WASH MY CALUA BIKINIS?
To ensure your bikini maintains its shape and vibrant color for many summers to come, proper care is essential. High-quality materials deserve special attention.
AFTER SWIMMING
Rinse your bikini with cold, clean water after each wear. Avoid wringing out the wet fabric, as this may affect its shape. Instead, lay it flat to dry in the shade.
DOs
- Hand wash: The best method. Whenever possible, wash your pieces by hand.
- Laundry bag: If using a washing machine, always use a laundry bag.
- Temperature: Although most of our fabrics can handle up to 40°C, we recommend a cold wash or gentle cycle to protect the fibers and the environment.
- Color separation: Always wash your CALUA bikinis with similar colors.
DON’Ts
- Heat: Never wash at temperatures higher than stated on the care label.
- Chemicals: Use detergent sparingly and avoid bleach entirely.
- Tumble dryer: Never put your bikinis in the dryer.
- Ironing: If necessary, use low heat only and avoid rings and printed labels.
SPECIAL NOTE: GOLD-PLATED DETAILS
Some of our bikinis feature gold-plated rings. These have been specially sealed to withstand UV rays, chlorine, and saltwater. To preserve their premium look and protective coating, these bikinis must never be washed in a washing machine. Mechanical friction in the drum can damage the coating, which may lead to discoloration or tarnishing of the gold.
HOW CAN I BE NOTIFIED WHEN A PRODUCT IS BACK IN STOCK?
If the item you desire is currently sold out and you wish to be notified when it becomes available again, just visit the respective product page, select your desired size, and click on the 'JOIN THE WAILIST’ option. We'll then send you an email or SMS once the item is back in stock.
HYGIENE & SAFETY
At CALUA, quality and hygiene are our top priorities. Before any piece leaves our warehouse, it undergoes strict quality control to ensure it meets our high standards. We want every customer to receive items in perfect condition.
To maintain this standard, we carefully inspect all returns for signs of wear, stains, or odors. We do not accept returns of items that show any signs of use or are damaged.
Returns that are not in perfect condition and do not meet our return criteria will not be accepted and will never be resold. This policy is in place to protect all of our customers.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Where do you ship to and what are the costs?
We ship worldwide directly from our warehouse in Germany. Shipping within Germany is €4.99, with a delivery time of 1-3 business days.
For international orders, costs depend on the destination country, the chosen shipping method (Standard or Express), and the size of your order (Small Parcels up to 5 items or Large Parcels from 6 items up to 5kg). You can find a detailed overview of all shipping rates here.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Our team typically packs and prepares your order within 24 to 48 hours. For orders within Germany, delivery usually takes 1-3 business days. International delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method. You can find more specific information here.
Please note that during new drops or sale periods, processing may take a little longer, but we always do our best to get your package on its way as quickly as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide from our warehouse in Germany. For international shipments, we use DHL Warenpost for small parcels (up to 5 items) and DHL Parcel for larger orders (6 items or more). Need it fast? We also offer DHL Express shipping worldwide. You can find a detailed list of shipping costs and estimated delivery times for your country here.
Please be aware that deliveries outside the EU may be subject to additional customs duties or import taxes.
Can I track my shipment?
As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a DHL tracking link. Alternatively, you can check your order status at any time in your CALUA customer account or enter your tracking number directly on the carrier's website.
For international shipments, your package may be handed over to a local carrier once it crosses the border. From that point on, you can also track it through your local postal service (e.g., USPS, Royal Mail, Emirates Post, PostNL).
Do you deliver to the US despite current tariffs?
Yes, we have specifically adapted our shipping process to meet current requirements. Please note that our "Economy Shipping" via DHL has been temporarily suspended. To guarantee a smooth and reliable delivery, we currently ship exclusively via DHL Premium or DHL Express.
Good news: All duties and taxes are calculated and settled directly at checkout. This means your order arrives smoothly without customs delays or unexpected fees upon delivery.
What should I consider for deliveries outside the EU (e.g., Switzerland)?
For deliveries to non-EU countries, all goods must be declared to customs. Additional customs duties or import taxes may apply, which are not included in the original price of your order. We have no control over these costs and cannot provide exact information on their amount. We recommend contacting your local customs office for details.
Important: You are responsible for paying any applicable fees upon delivery. Please note that carriers may only release the package once payment is made.
Exception US: Duties and taxes for the US are handled at checkout for a fast and seamless delivery.
My tracking status isn't updating, what should I do?
Sometimes carriers require extra time for the next update due to unforeseen circumstances. However, if your tracking status has not moved for more than 5 business days, please contact us with your order number so we can initiate an investigation for you.
Do you ship to DHL Packstations (Germany only)?
Since we ship exclusively with DHL within Germany, we are happy to deliver to a Packstation of your choice. Please enter the details in the following fields at checkout:
Name: First and Last Name
Street (Straße): Packstation
House Number (Hausnummer): The number of the Packstation (e.g., 101)
Address Line 2 (Adresszusatz): Your personal "Postnummer" (customer number)
Postcode & City: Postcode & City of the Packstation
Important Notes:
- You need a DHL customer account and your personal Postnummer.
- You need the Post & DHL App to collect the package.
- Packages are stored for up to 7 calendar days. If not collected and returned to us, we process it as a regular return and must deduct the return shipping costs from your refund.

What happens if I’m not home during delivery?
If the carrier cannot reach you personally, your package will be left with a neighbor, at your designated drop-off location, at a Packstation, or at a local post office. You will be notified via a card in your mailbox or directly through the tracking link.
Note: If a package is stored at a post office or Packstation, it will be held for 7 calendar days. If not collected within this timeframe, the package will be returned to us, and the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Can I change my shipping address?
Once an order is completed, we unfortunately cannot make changes to the shipping address.
If you haven't received a shipping confirmation yet, please contact us immediately. We will check if your package is still in our warehouse and try to update the address for you.
What if my package is marked as "delivered," but I can't find it?
We are very sorry for any issues with your delivery. Please note that our responsibility ends the moment we hand over the package to the carrier. If your tracking shows "delivered" but you cannot find the package, we recommend:
- Check your mailbox: Look for a notification card.
- Check the surroundings: Carriers often leave packages with neighbors, in the hallway, or at a pre-agreed drop-off location.
- Use detailed tracking: Entering your zip code on the carrier's tracking page often provides more specific info on the drop-off location.
Liability: Please note that we cannot accept liability if you have chosen a specific drop-off location or delivery to a neighbor and the package is lost or stolen from there.
If none of the above applies or the tracking hasn't moved for 5 business days, please contact us.
Why was my package sent back to CALUA?
A return to sender can happen for several reasons:
- Not collected: The package was not picked up from a collection point within the 7-day period.
- Refused: The delivery was refused at the door.
- Incorrect Address: The shipping address provided was incomplete or wrong.
- Transit Damage: The package was damaged during transport and could not be delivered.
What happens next? It can take up to three weeks (or more depending on the distance) for a return-to-sender package to reach us. Once received, it will be processed and refunded according to our Return Policy. Please note that for returns due to non-collection, refusal, or incorrect addresses, we must deduct the return shipping costs from your refund.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
How long can I return an order?
We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery. Once approved, you have an additional 14 days to ship your package back to us.
How do I start a return?
Please use our Returns Center to submit your request. Enter your order number (#1234) and email address, and follow the instructions. Once approved, you will receive further shipping details.
How much does return shipping cost?
Germany: You have the choice. For a refund to your original payment method, a €5.99 fee for the DHL label will be deducted from your refund. If you choose store credit over a refund, the return shipping is FREE and we add +10% bonus value.
International: Unfortunately, we can’t provide return labels for international shipments. You are responsible for the costs of your return and can use a carrier of your choice to ship back your package.
Can I return worn items?
No. To ensure that every customer receives flawless items, we only accept returns in perfect condition: unworn, unwashed, with all tags and hygienic seals intact, including all pads and straps, and in the original bag.
Once an item has been worn or soiled, it loses its status as a new garment. According to German law, such items cannot be cleaned and resold. We inspect every return strictly to maintain our high quality and hygiene standards.
Please try on all swimwear over your underwear. For hygienic reasons, we can only accept bikini bottoms if the hygienic seal is undamaged and in its original position. Items showing signs of wear or stains are not eligible for a refund and will be sent back to you without a refund.
Can I keep the dust bag, if I return my entire order?
No, the CALUA dust bag is an integral part of the product and is designed for its protection. If you decide to return your entire order, the dust bag must be included in the return in its original condition. For any missing dust bags, a fee of €3 per item will be deducted from your refund.
Can I return multiple orders in one package?
Yes, we highly encourage this! Consolidating your returns into one package helps minimize the environmental impact of the shipping process. Please ensure that you register a return in our returns center for each individual order that contains items you wish to return. Once registered, you can simply pack all items together into a single box and send them back to us.
How do returns with Klarna work?
If you paid via Klarna, we recommend reporting your return in the Klarna app. This pauses your invoice until we have processed your return, ensuring you don’t receive unnecessary payment reminders.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse, we require up to 14 business days to inspect and process it. You will receive your refund as soon as the processing is complete. Please note that payment providers may take additional time to process and credit the amount to your account.
ORDERS & PAYMENTS
What payment methods do you accept?
We offer all major secure payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), Google Pay, and various other international payment options. You can easily select your preferred method during checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
To guarantee fast delivery, your package is usually packed and shipped within 24 to 48 hours on business days. Once you have received a shipping confirmation, we can no longer change or cancel your order. If you have not yet received a confirmation, please contact us immediately, and we will check if an adjustment is still possible.
How do I get an invoice for my order?
Your invoice is automatically generated and can be found on your Order Status Page. You will find the link to this page in your order confirmation email. If you have any issues downloading it, please feel free to reach out to us.
How do I find my order number?
You can find your order number in all transaction emails related to your order and within your customer account. It starts with # followed by a sequence of numbers.
What happens if received a damaged or incorrect item?
We are incredibly sorry if you received an incorrect or damaged item. Quality is our top priority, but mistakes can happen. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the defect. We will prioritize finding a solution for you immediately.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital CALUA gift cards for every budget. They are sent via email immediately after purchase and can be forwarded or printed. The gift code can be easily redeemed during the checkout process.
OTHERS
I haven’t received my newsletter discount code. What should I do?
Please note that our newsletter uses a double opt-in process. This means you will first receive an email to confirm your subscription. Only after confirmation will the discount code be sent to you in a separate email. If you can't find it, please make sure to check your spam folder.
Can I apply for a job at CALUA?
We truly appreciate your interest in our brand! Whenever we are looking to grow our team, we will post the job openings here on our website or via our social media channels (Instagram & TikTok). Please note that we are currently unable to process unsolicited applications.
Is CALUA available in local stores?
Currently, our collections are available exclusively online through our onlineshop. This allows us to maintain a direct connection with our customers while offering the highest experience.
